Since 1956, our hand-cast aluminium products with titanium coating have formed the core of our business. Today, we still cast all our nonstick aluminium products at our own factory in Ryomgård on Djursland.
Responsibly produced kitchen equipment
At SCANPAN, we want to make a difference. We believe good food deserves quality tools made with the same commitment, respect and care that we show when producing and handling our food. This means that all our cast aluminium products are made from recycled aluminium at our factory, where we have complete control over every stage of production.
How we make world-class kitchen equipment
Liquid aluminium is poured by hand into a mould and then pressure-cast under 250 tonnes of pressure. In the subsequent processes, the first layer is bonded to the compressed aluminium at 20,000 degrees, after which the nonstick coating is applied and cured. The unique casting technique ensures maximum durability and perfect heat distribution across the entire cooking surface. Quality is checked down to the smallest detail throughout the production process.
As part of our ongoing product and technology development, we have developed an extremely durable and easy-to-clean coating.

In addition to its popular nonstick products, the SCANPAN range includes refined design ranges and professional ranges in stainless steel and copper, speciality products for everyday cooking, and colourful kitchen knives and accessories. To ensure a high level of quality, ease of use and aesthetics, we continuously develop ideas and products with our partners and professional chefs.
The company
SCANPAN exports worldwide. Exports continue to grow and now account for the vast majority of our total turnover. The company is 100% Danish-owned, with its head office in Auning and its own factory in Ryomgård on Djursland, near Aarhus. SCANPAN A/S also has subsidiaries in Norway, Singapore, China and the USA.
