Bars of recycled aluminium are melted and poured by hand into a mould, after which the pan or pot is pressure-cast under 250 tonnes of pressure. This unique casting technique ensures even heat distribution, making the cookware a pleasure to use in the kitchen.
High quality and standards do not happen by themselves. They require human experience and expertise. Many of the employees working in SCANPAN’s production have been with the company for more than 20 years and therefore have valuable experience and an in-depth understanding of production methods and quality control.

Our core business
Since 1956, our pressure-cast aluminium products with nonstick coating have formed the core of our business. To ensure the best possible quality control, all our nonstick products are manufactured at our own factory in Denmark. Bars of recycled aluminium are heated until liquid, poured by hand into a mould and pressure-cast under 250 tonnes of pressure. The unique casting technique provides even heat distribution across the entire surface without hot spots and supports long-lasting performance.
