SCANPAN racks fit both smaller and larger roasting pans and are designed for easy handling, even when loaded with food. Our kitchen accessories also include a wide selection of utensils and aids for the modern kitchen.
The racks are made from stainless steel, which withstands high temperatures and daily use. They are dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is recommended to extend their lifespan. For steaming or slow roasting, a rack can also be combined with a pot to add flexibility to your cooking.
In addition to racks, you can expand your cookware with specialist inserts for gentle, precise and safe cooking. The inserts fit compatible pots and saucepans and give you more techniques in the same setup.
Steamer insert
A steamer insert sits above simmering water and is ideal for vegetables, fish and dumplings. Steaming preserves moisture, texture and flavour without leaving ingredients sitting in liquid. Choose an insert that matches the diameter of your pot and use a lid to retain steam and heat.
Deep-frying baskets
Deep-frying baskets make it safer and easier to lower food into and lift it from hot oil. They also allow effective draining for crispy results. Use them in a high-sided pot with stable heat and select a basket that matches the pot size for the best control.
- Several cooking techniques with the same pot
- Gentle handling of delicate ingredients
- Greater safety and control when deep-frying
Clean your racks thoroughly after use to enjoy them for many years.
