About our tagine
Cooking with a tagine transforms fresh, flavourful ingredients into exciting dishes inspired by North Africa, whether used on the hob, in the oven or on the grill. The SCANPAN Impact tagine combines North African cooking traditions with Danish design and an uncompromising approach to quality cookware.
The tagine originates from North African countries such as Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. It consists of a dish-shaped base with a conical lid. The base can also be used as a serving dish and helps keep food warm. The distinctive conical lid circulates and retains the flavours of the ingredients. This allows you to prepare rich, flavourful dishes using little fat.
The SCANPAN tagine is part of the popular Impact range, which embodies SCANPAN's core qualities: high quality, functional design and strong performance. Its stylish two-tone finish brings the same clean, elegant design as the rest of the Impact range into the kitchen. The tagine is exceptionally robust, suitable for use on the hob, including gas, in the oven and on the grill up to 250 °C, and is easy to clean. It is available for both induction and traditional hob types.
The Moroccan tagine is available in two sizes, with diameters of 28 cm and 32 cm.
