Warranty and statutory rights for nonstick cookware
SCANPAN products are designed for everyday use, so you can enjoy them for many years. Thanks to our high product quality, SCANPAN products come with a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects in Stratanium® and Stratanium®+ coatings.
The warranty means that you can make a claim for defects in the coating for up to 5 years from the delivery date. Please remember to keep your receipt.
The remainder of the product, excluding the coating, is covered by a 2-year statutory right to make a claim.
The Stratanium® Leap coating and Brund by Scanpan are covered by a 2-year statutory right to make a claim.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects in the coating, meaning physical defects that were present when the product was delivered. The original receipt must be presented as proof of purchase when making a warranty claim. The warranty applies to private use only and to the original purchaser of the product. It is not transferable.
When does the warranty not apply?
The warranty does not cover products that have been stored or used incorrectly, misused, altered or cleaned using unsuitable cleaning methods or products. It also does not cover damage caused by inadequate or incorrect maintenance contrary to the instructions for use.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cut marks, scratches or damage caused by impacts or accidents. It also does not apply if products are used professionally, outdoors or in damp environments.
The warranty can only be claimed if our care instructions have been followed. You can find care guides and advice here to help your SCANPAN products last for many years.
How do you make a claim?
If you purchased your product from a retailer, please contact your nearest SCANPAN retailer. If the product is covered by the warranty, SCANPAN will cover the cost of repair or replacement.
If you purchased the product through the SCANPAN webshop, please contact SCANPAN by email or telephone.
Statutory rights for other product categories
As a consumer, you have a 2-year statutory right to make a claim. This means that you can make a claim for faults and defects for up to 2 years from the delivery date. Please remember to keep your receipt.
