About the range

Aluminium cookware

Products in the Classic Induction range are hand-cast from recycled aluminium at our factory in Ryomgård, Denmark.

Products from the Classic Induction range are suitable for all hob types, including induction. Aluminium is not magnetic and is therefore not induction compatible on its own. We therefore cast a steel disc into the base using a special casting technique that ensures optimum, even heat distribution.

We cast our cookware in aluminium for several reasons. Aluminium is an excellent heat conductor and also a lightweight material. An aluminium frying pan weighs considerably less and is therefore easier to handle than a cast-iron frying pan. We use recycled aluminium.

Unique nonstick coating

Products in the Classic Induction range feature SCANPAN’s renowned, unique nonstick coating, which is hard-wearing and very easy to clean. The coating consists of multiple layers that fuse together during production to form one exceptionally solid surface.

In addition to the user-friendly properties provided by the materials and production technique, pans and pots from the Classic Induction range feature a classic design with ergonomic handles and practical glass lids. Choose SCANPAN Classic Induction for a wide range of uses and reliable results, whether you are frying, boiling, baking or grilling.
