About our copper pots
Maitre D's distinctive appearance is only part of the story: copper provides fast, even heat distribution, while the stainless steel interior is easy to clean. The riveted handles are also made from stainless steel and stay cool for longer.
From béarnaise and hollandaise to chocolate sauce or porridge, Maitre D' pots suit a wide range of dishes. The small portion pans are practical for smaller dishes and add an elegant French touch when served straight from hob to table.
To restore their shine, dissolve half a sachet of citric acid in 2 litres of warm water. Soak the copper pieces for 15 minutes, remove any remaining residue with a soft sponge or toothbrush, rinse with water and washing-up liquid, then dry.
