Use and care instructions for CS+ and IQ cookware

Before use
Wash the product in warm water with washing-up liquid.
Remove any stickers from the product.

During use
The product should only be used for preparing and serving food.
Do not overheat the product, as this will reduce its nonstick performance. Damage caused by overheating is not covered by the warranty.

Heat the product gradually for a few minutes over a medium heat until it reaches cooking temperature, then add oil or fat if required.
If the oil or fat becomes too hot, it can burn onto the nonstick coating and gradually reduce its performance. Take particular care when cooking on induction, as cookware can become very hot very quickly if the heat is increased too rapidly. We therefore recommend heating your cookware gradually to prevent damage and reduce the risk of oil or fat burning onto the surface.
We do not recommend using aerosol cooking sprays on nonstick cookware. Oil from aerosol sprays burns at lower temperatures and therefore increases the risk of damaging your nonstick product.

After use
The product is easiest to clean while still warm, but allow it to cool for approximately five minutes before washing it in warm water with washing-up liquid. The product must always be completely clean before it is put away.
To remove stubborn burnt-on food from the inside, fill the product three-quarters full with water. Bring the water to the boil over a medium heat, add washing-up liquid and simmer for 15 minutes. Then clean the product as usual. Repeat the process if necessary.

Some visible wear may appear on the coating during use.
This is normal and does not affect the nonstick performance.

The warranty does not cover stains, fading or scratches on the inside or outside, such as marks caused by sharp objects or electrical equipment. We generally do not recommend using metal utensils with cookware from the CS+ and IQ series. Glass lids are also not covered by the warranty.

Dishwasher safe, but we do not recommend dishwasher cleaning as it can shorten the life of the product. Ovenproof up to 250 °C, including lids and handles.

Aluminium base:
After dishwasher cleaning, which is not recommended, residue may rub off from the base because dishwasher detergents attack aluminium.
Products with an aluminium base may leave silver-coloured marks on the hob. These marks can be removed with a cleaning product intended for the hob surface.

Two-year right to complain:
Our CS+ and IQ cookware purchased from Imerco from January 2025 onwards is covered by a two-year right to complain.
