About our pot lids
Whether you are boiling water, rice or potatoes or preparing a casserole, a well-fitting lid helps retain heat, moisture and flavour.
If a glass lid is damaged or lost, replacement lids for our popular Classic cookware series are available separately. The lids come in sizes from 16 to 36 cm, so you can find one to fit your pots.
Our pots are ovenproof, and lids with plastic handles withstand temperatures up to 250 °C. This allows casseroles to cook in the oven for several hours while the lid retains flavour and moisture.
Classic lids are made from robust glass and have a practical plastic handle. The glass lets you monitor the food without lifting the lid.
As our pots are ovenproof, they are ideal for classic pot bread. Dissolve the yeast in water and mix with flour and salt to form a sticky dough. There is no need to knead it. Leave the dough in the fridge overnight, place it in the pot, cover with the lid and bake at 250 °C.
