Heavenly bread with pecans


½ litre lukewarm water
50 g yeast
½ dl (0,2 cup) peanut butter
4 tsp salt
50 g salt
½ dl (0,2 cup) cocoa
½ dl (0,2 cup) sweet chili sauce
50 g walnuts or pecans
400 g wheat flour
400 g durum wheat flour

Step by step

In a bowl, dissole the yeast in water - make sure it has completely dissolved in the water, then add the remaining ingredients. Mix in a mixer at high speed for approx. 10 minutes.

Place in a greased baking pan (39 x 27 cm / 5 ltr) and sprinkle the top with flour. Cover the dough with cling film or a damp cloth and allow it to rise in a warm place for about 1½ hours. Bake at 250°C (480°F) for 20 minutes.

Turn the bread out of the baking pan and cool completely on a wire rack before cutting.
